We did our combined exhibit recently at the Ducky Birts Health Fair and Gospelrama at Zion Baptist Church.  Color Book Gallery is a division of DHEx Enterprises.  One of the other DHEx focuses is providing medical diagnostic equipment.  At Health Fairs, we specifically focus on home-use products.  With so many people dying of heart-related illnesses, we want to educate them on the value of home-use medical aides – like high blood pressure monitors – in managing their health.  We also bring our children’s books that focus on children’s health and our brainteasers.  Keep in mind that brainteasers not only help a child develop their brain, they also help us adults exercise and maintain our mental health.

We had several givers from our location that gave out over 250 books on Monday – the first ever US World Book Night or Tuesday.  Please make sure you join us next year.  Here is Mrs Carol Short, Director of the Food Program at Journey of Faith in Philadelphia, led by Pastor Anthony A. Arrington and Asst Director, Benita Clark.  They received my box of books to give to their program participants.

Here’s another of our givers – Bea Joyner.  Getting ready to prepare to give out books on World Book Night.
